The St. Petersburg film studio of popular science films "Lennauchfilm" was established on February 11, 1933. For more than 10 years, a creative workshop has been working at the St. Petersburg State University of Cinema and Television at the Department of Screen Arts for the training of directors of popular science films, the teachers of which are well-known directors of the studio.
